La Matriarca has been in the building business for seven years. Throughout our experience, we have compiled what we believe to be the best selection of materials, exterior building practices and customer relationship skills to not only create a local community, but to ensure the structures we build last a lifetime. Life in the Pacific Northwest comes with a surplus of natural beauty and also a very wet climate that can be harsh on our siding, fences, decks or any parts of our homes that are outside and made of wood. Our entry level deck services begin with our rejuvenation program. We know how harsh the PNW wet winter seasons can be on our home's most beloved hang out spaces. That's why we've developed a complete wood care system to address water damage and rot and ultimately provide a safe, well-protected finish on outdoor structures.
Our mid range and more through services cover re-surfacing projects and new builds - complete with 3D renderings and coordination with our Project Directors before and during the entirety of the build. Let us navigate the City of Seattle permitting process and utilize our relationships and reputation within the building department. We also handle development and production of site, elevation and floor plans.
We also specialize in a variety of custom wood working including river tables, live edge furniture, cutting & serving boards, seasonal raised cedar planter beds and Montesorri style climbing triangles for kids. We dedicate and pride ourselves on supporting other women and small businesses in the Seattle area and volunteer with other small organizations like Young Women Empowered & Habitat for Humanity to promote and encourage access to the trades.
